- Exit out of the well (without the sword jumping and kicking down is faster than walking)
- Wall jump or wall crawl over the gap.
- Either follow the left path, crouching through the plants, under the house and down the left side of the cliffs, jumping up to the building at the end. Or
- Head directly for the building. There are two mobs in front, the one of the right has a gun and requires dodging to the left as you fires, once he lines up to fire jump to the left whilst being careful of the mob on the left. The mob on the left has a sword so you the dodge is quite tight to avoid the bullet and not get too close the left mob. Afterwards head up the stairs starting on the right side to avoid the left mobs, heading towards the left, be aware of the mob on the top right as he has a gun also so be ready to jump-dodge if needed, continue the the left side of the building and pull yourself into the opening.
- Speak with Kuro (required in order for him to appear at the door before tutorial Geni).
- Exit the building the same way, running down the stairs in the same fashion. As you reach the the corner there is a mob around the corner who may sometimes run out, you don’t have to attack but be aware/ready to run around him as he can stand in the way and slow you down.
- If you continue holding run, you can get past the next two mobs in front of the door, run closer to the left mob. Continue through hugging the right side of the steps up to the Miniboss Shigenori. Head immediately right then left, grab the item (2 * Fistful of Ash) jump over and make way to the other side where the door will be.

- After spawning at the Sculptors hut, go behind the Hut and grab the item (Light Coin Purse). Head straight on grappling to the branch over the gap.
- Head forward keeping to the right side, jump over the Idol, running up to a mob next to a broken wall, (there is a also a small platform if you drop down on the right of this mob with an Ako sugar in a cave, not required but available if wanted), head through the broken wall jump and grapple to the far arch. Head right running forward across the next building’s roof that has a hole. Drop through the hole grabbing the item in the building (Shruikan Wheel)
- Exit through the hole, turn left and climb up wall. Continue along the right side until you reach the next area, where you can grapple to a building in the centre, grab the item (Light Coin Purse). Don’t dawdle here as there are mobs that can aggro to you.
- Head down towards the broken building with the woman in it, head to the bottom of the building grabbing the 3 items (3 * Light Coin Purses).
- Exit out and grapple to higher floor to speak with the woman NPC, and collect the ‘Young Lord’s Bell Charm’
- Head out head right and jump grappling up to the left before reaching the next arch. Grapple to the top of this rock mound, reaching the shopkeeper.
- Sell 5 * Coin Purses, and Buy Firecrackers.
- Continue past the shopkeeper dropping down on the right, picking up the item (3 * Gachiin Sugars). Jump over the gap, head up grappling to the branch, continue down the left side grappling up the next next building roof.
- Use a Gachiin at the end of the roof, grapple to the next building, run past or kill the mobs on the right (1 can dealt with a stealth blow), and run up to chained ogre on the left, crouching as you approach move around to the back of his right leg and get the stealth deathblow. If you miss the deathblow but have time on your Gachiin I’d recommend heading down the stairs on the top-left there is an idol which you can rest at the reset the area.

Gyoubu Oniwa

- Grapple to the next building.
- Head out and right, heading towards the Headless mob location, grabbing the item (Divine Confetti). Then turnaround and run towards the valley. They’ll be a mob next to the broken bridge but you can run past him and drop down to the next area.
- Continue heading down until you reach the first gap requiring a grapple on the opposite side of the valley. This one you can run/jump around the left wall grappling to a branch on the left. Immediately jump forward to the other side grappling, and if the snake notices you head on the right-side of the platform to avoid the attack, if not run through the small tunnel straight away.
- Head left, if you are keep running you can reach the wall and can start wall crawling straight away, if not crouch in the grass and wait for the snake to be looking the other way. Tapping right moves you quicker then holding right, once reaching just before being able to step off, jump off as it’s quicker.
- You can either use the tent, or quicker to run past the right side of the tent (left-side you will get hit) get to the left wall and wait for the snake to attack. 3 Grapples to the far side, and continue on grappling to the other side. Up to the idol grabbing the left item (Gachiin Sugar), rest at idol (this is to reset enemy positions) head back dropping down and running right to grab the far item (Ako Sugar).
- Jump climb up (if you didn’t rest there will be a mob here that will aggro), jump and walk through the window in building drop down on other side, crouch and walk back into the building grabbing the 2 items (Heavy Coin Purse and Balloons)
- Use Homeward Idol to go back to Dilapidated Temple, get Firecrackers & Shruikan prosthetic. Head back to Idol. Equip Firecrackers, add D.Confetti and Ako to quick items, use Heavy Coin Purse, Purchase 50 spirit emblems from Idol. Travel back to Ashina Castle Fortress.
- Grapple up the right side, run along the roof jumping past the mob on the right. Be careful sometimes he aggros sometimes he doesn’t, so can either run past avoiding his shot or kill him although be careful if aggroed any mobs behind as well. After wards grapple up and head into Gyoubu’s arena. Grabbing the item at the start of the arena (2 * Fistfuls of Ash)

- Get Idol at door of arena, Use memory for Attack power.
- Run up the stairs, run past the mob on the right-hand side to avoid his shot, grapple up and run right going back on yourself. There is a mob next to a tree looking towards the Gyoubu arena, backstab. (If you aggro, I’d recommend jumping into the Gyoubu arena and resting at Idol to reset.) Jump into Gyoubu arena and head to the opposite side up the stairs, enter the building and speak to Tengu until he gives you the Ashina esoteric texts. Homeward Idol to ‘Last Idol’.
- Again run up the stairs on the right-side grappling up, continue forward running past the mobs and over to the right. (An alternate path is heading left as on a platform on the left side of the next building there are some Ako sugars for a damage buff, afterwards you would run directly to Bull past the large mobs). Climb up, grapple to the next building, try to wall jump around to the right as doing correctly allows you to get into the arena without aggroing the mobs behind, (if aggro-ed hurry this opening up as you don’t want them entering the arena), 2 slash the mob on the left, buff with Ako & D.Confetti and approach until Bull aggros.

- Immediately after beating Bull use Homeward Idol to Dilapidated Temple. Speak to Sculptor to get the Shinobi esoteric text. Use Idol, and acquire/buy the Mikiri Counter skill in the Shinobi tree. Teleport to Ashina Castle.
- On the bridge there is an NPC. Chat once, then use 3 ‘Wealth Balloon” items to receive Ungo Sugar/Ako Sugar/Divine Confetti. Head up the stairs grappling to the first point on the right, head right grappling over to the third building. Grapple to the building directly to the right of Ashina castle on the right side, then grapple to it’s highest point (again right side), here you want to crouch and wait for the mob standing on Ashina castle roof to ‘Yellow Aggro’ then walk behind the roof so he can’t see you. Use Gachiin, when he deaggro’s and turns immediately run, grapple to the next roof and run past along the left side of the roof (don’t stall as he then has chance to reaggro), ‘Woooo’ guy will fly above you if you continue running, turn right running along the wall, once you reach the end jump and grapple to the window opening on the right. (Must be done quickly as there is a flying mob who will crash down once you reach the end).
- Get item on right (Fistful of Ash) then Idol and rest.
- Head right up stairs, go through door on right do a backstab on mob in next room, open door, run right, into the room on the right, then into room on left, grappling into the roof. Behind you there will be an item to pick up (2 * Gachiin Sugars), run to the other end drop through the floor, run past mobs turn left and run past mobs (not up the stairs), break through shutters, turn right continue running past mobs up the stairs on the left at the end, head up turn right to exit room, head left and towards the main ashina castle along the roof, grapple up to Genichiro Arena.

- Head down the stairs, speak with Kuro twice, check the incense on the table, speak with Kuro, go to Idol and use Memory for Attack power, speak with Kuro, then open window behind Kuro.
- Head out right and you’ll see a building on left and right. Go to the one on right, go inside and speak to Isshin through both dialogue options (‘About immortal severance’ and ‘Where can the Mortal Blade be found’), finish with Isshin.
- Head out, grab the Gachiin on the opposite building to Isshin’s, head back to look down on the ground for a mob walking out. Jump deathblow which will you give you a Heavy coin purse, run past 2nd mob and along the rail in front of the idol grab the item (Gachiin sugar), then drop down onto the building on the left, drop through the hole in the roof. Use Heavy coin purse and purchase 3 Yash sugars from Blackhat Badger. Homeward Idol back to Last communed Idol.
- Head to the top left room where Kuro is, grabbing the Item (Gun fort Key), then travel to Ashina Castle idol.
- Head to the left grappling to the branch over the water.
- Run past mobs over the bridge, grapple up and running jump over to the right of mob and wolves, continue running through until you reach abandoned dungeon (don’t stop as Wolves will be chasing but as long as you don’t delay they can’t catch up) .
- Grapple to the path above, running through, jumping over the last gap and running till you reach the water. Swim hugging the right wall, (there is an Ako sugar in the boat on the left but be careful of aggro-ing mob with gun to the right), until you reach the next area jump and wall hang positioning to do a stealth deathblow on the mob when he’s in position. Climb up and run past the 2nd mob until you reach the elevator.
- Head up in the elevator, head out of the door towards the left. There is a Gachiin sugar when you immediately turn left once leaving, grab this . Jump down to the path below, running through the plants on the right side until you reach the item (Ako sugar) then head forward-left grappling to the ceiling point on the left, jump and climb up into the roof. Grab item (Ako sugar)
- Run out down the stairs, (don’t delay as cockroaches can strike you), head left at bottom of stairs jumping out of the window in the back right. Turn left and run through the grass towards the stairs, run around mobs on there left side. Jump and grapple to branch on the top-left. Continue until you reach the Idol (Idol isn’t necessary but if lowering PB or still getting used to Roberto would recommend grabbing so you can spawn here).
- Run along the platform, grapple to the platform in front (not above), continue through the tunnel crouching moving slowly towards the end waiting for the mob on the left to jump down (without aggro), backstab. Grapple to the platform in front, backstab 2nd mob. grab the Gachiin sugar to your right on the platform. Grapple to middle branch, jump and hang on platform edge along until you can do a stealth deathblow on Mob. Climb up and continue on until you reach Roberto’s arena.

- Run out jumping to building below, run forward and jump then grapple to the branch on the bottom left of the building in front. On the path in front next to the building pick up the item (3 *Fistfuls of Ash). Run forward and grapple up to the next building (quickly so to not get hit by mobs)
- Run along left side of the roof to avoid aggro-ing mob on the far right as has ranged weapons, grapple then wall climb up to the left, grapple up twice again up to the building before the temple. Boss guide begins from this point.

- Head into building, speak and acquire Mortal blade.
- Equip Mortal Draw combat art. Idol: Use memory and get the following skills; Suppress presence, Supress sound, Ichimonji, Descending Carp, Ascending Carp. Then travel to Kuro’s Room.
- Head out of window, jumping over moat and grappling to building to the left of bridge. Run over roof heading forward dropping down. Continue running down the building at the bottom (don’t delay as mobs are in the grass). You don’t need to enter the room with Tengu instead head left around the room, jump onto the rail, running jump off and grapple to the branch.
- Run past idol hugging the right side, jump and grapple to the mob circling around then kill with 3 slashes when he fires. (This is safe as long you don’t delay, but can also grapple to the platform below this mob and wait for deaggro to stealth deathblow). Grapple back to where you were, there is an item here to grab (2 *Fistfuls of Ash)
- Run through grappling to branch top-left, grapple to next branch, crouch and backstab mob. Continue forward jumping and grappling to next area. As you reach the next place you can drop down there will be a lizard that drops from the sky, wait for this then do a jumping deathblow. Wall crawl to the next spot.
- Grapple to the branch in front, use a Gachiin sugar. Drop down on the left side away from the mob, run past the idol and running jump down grappling to the next platform, then twice again up to Snake Eyes’s platform. Run past on the left, then either;
- Run through the lamp, jump and grapple to the point on the right, or wall crawl to the same spot.
- Crouch behind wall and wait for all mobs to deaggro (doesn’t matter about Snake Eyes), use a Gachiin, crouch and walk towards the right side of the bridge. Walk onto the bridge until you reach the 5th rung on the right, stand up for mobs to aggro pause for a moment, then run, just before you reach the gap in the floor jump over the right side grappling to the branch below, then run next to the wall and crouch as then the mobs can’t shoot you here.
- Wait for mobs to deaggro, then grapple to branch on left. Then branch on the opposite side crossing the gap. Head left wall climb up, turn and hang on wall behind where there will be a mob, stealth deathblow this mob. Drop back down continue climbing up the left side, grapple to branch, wall hang and stealth deathblow next mob, run up stairs and jumping up until you reach the wooden barrier with a mob on top, stealth deathblow. Crouch heading to the right, drop down into pots crouch walk up to mob running as he aggros/just before, this gives time to get around the corner if he shoots. A gachiin use is another alternative to use with this. Continue on to Centipede. (If practicing, would recommend getting Idol so you respawn next to the boss arena)

- Exit out of the door (if the door is locked, you forgot the key in Kuro’s room). Run off the edge to the right of the bridge, and hugging the right side swim into the tunnel. Wait at the end for the snake to attack, and as he does swim through to the next area grabbing the Idol.
- Grapple up, continue up until you reach a statue in front. Here you want to do a running jump towards the edge of its fingers, turn the camera towards the left and grapple the first grapple point (you can do the one at the bottom as I did but is risking hitting the ground and blackscreening, the first grapple is more forgiving and what I do now).
- Run past the shopkeeper, staying on the right side. Once you reach the lizards wall jump up to the higher level, jump over the left platform with item, isn’t needed, and continue forward. There are two methods for the snake;
- The one shown where you run towards the snake, jump off the platform to the left as he attacks grappling forward and running past into the building. Or, heading down the left side, using the Puppeteer ninjustu on the monkey which makes the snake aggro to the monkey, grapple up and continue on.
- Run through and grapple to the top right, grab the item on the left (3 * Divine Confetti’s). Head on until you reach just before the posion area, using a Gachiin. Boss guide starts from this point.

- Continue running through until you reach the Hidden Forest Idol, rest at the Idol as you will need to teleport here later.
- Run onto branch, and then grappling to tree on the right, you want to avoid the turkey so either drop down to the branch below or grapple to the point past the mob. After run past the fire dropping down on the right picking up the item (3 * Yash sugars), run back jump onto the branch and head right. Grab the item up the path (5 * Snap seeds). Drop down and run forward towards the building. Jump onto the raised up floor on the building’s left side, behind will be a tree, you can ‘wall’ jump onto the closest branch which you can then jump onto the roof from (See vid for example).
- Run into hole in roof, drop down for a deathblow on Mist Noble. Followed by 2 Mortal Draws to finish. Grab the item (Yash sugar), and head out the front of the building heading forward. Drop down to ground level, grappling so to not blackscreen from the drop.
- Run towards Mibu Village following to the right of the path, just left of the water, continue on this path until you reach steps leading up. Continue up on the left side, jumping into the water, swim and grapple up to the bridge.
- Continue up towards the building before the corrupted monk arena, then can either go underneath building using the panel to enter from below or use the grapple point on the right (as shown in video). Grab item at altar (5 * Divine Confetti). Exit out, then grapple to top floor of building, jump through hole in roof and head to corrupted monk arena in front.

- Grab the idol, head through the open door and grab the Shelter Stone. Homeward Idol back to last Idol.
- Use memory, then acquire following skills; Whirlwind Slash, Karma Body, Karma Mind, then travel to Ashina castle.
- Jump across towards Abandoned dungeon, kill the right mob on the bridge with 2 slashes (would recommend trying to hit the left mob as well to stagger him), as he gives us the Key needed, then run back, turning left before the door. Head forward into Ashina resevoir, jumping to the branches on the left, jump and wall climb up onto a wall railing and jump deathblow mob in front, then head right into building, grabbing the item from the box (Gyoubu’s broken horn), and Idol to Dilapidated Temple.
- Get the spear prosthetic from the Sculptor. Quick items have Yash and Divine confetti on, and spear prosthetic equipped. Travel to Riven cave.
- Head back to where the snake was, enter the water, dive and in front to your left is an item to collect (Yash Sugar) then return back.
- Head the same way, instead of dropping down this time, jump towards the statues wrist grappling to the point in front. Jump off to the right to the mini bridge between the two sides, run along the right hand side jumping over the monkey mobs at the end to the platforms below. Continue dropping down to the lower level to the left of the horde of monkeys, run past grapple up to the statue and grapple over to the Idol before the Guardian ape arena. (Again for practice would recommend grabbing the Idol before starting the fight)

- Run past the Idol getting the Lotus item, then Idol back to last communed idol which will take you to an Ashina castle idol.
- Use Memory and equip Shruikans.
- Run out across the bridge dropping into the water (if you stay running the red mob won’t have chance to strike), grab the item in the water (Yash sugar) and head through tunnel, diving down to get through.
- Grapple up to the building, wait for the mob that aggros to drop down then grapple to the bridge, to the building and up to the main ashina castle. There will be a mob to the left when you reach, jump left and grapple to the higher roof on the top right. Run forward jump and grapple to the bamboo bridge, Jump to the right and grapple up (the jump to the right is if any of the mobs throw projectiles), and then enter the arena. The dialogue option is to Stay loyal to Kuro.

- Rest at idol, use memory and rest.
- Head downstairs speak with Kuro 3 times. Speak with Emma until you receive the Immortal Severance Scrap item, speak with Kuro until you light the incense, light incense. Head to room to left of Kuro, wall grab and eavesdrop on Kuro. Homeward Idol to ‘Last Idol’
- Speak to Emma, select ‘I agree’ option. Rest at Idol, Speak to Emma, rest at idol. Head left towards the Gachiin Sugar you picked up across from Isshin’s room, drop down to the ground on the left, speak with Emma. Travel to Dilapidated Temple.
- Head behind temple to the back right where there is a hole in the wall, eavesdrop on Emma and Sculptor. Speak to Emma ‘Overheard’ option then ‘hiding’ option, go back to idol and teleport to Wedding Cave door
- Head to where you picked up the stone, go past and interact with tent.
- Head down and into the True monk arena

Divine Dragon

- Exit arena, Head down jumping down along the right until you reach fountainhead palace.
- Run along the palace’s right side until you reach a wall with a submerged structure to your right, and the wall is broken on the right above the water.
- Once you reach here crouch behind wall on left in case the mob on the roof aggro-ed as you ran past. Once deaggroed or sure it’s safe, wall jump through broken wall on right. This takes a bit of practice and two things to be aware of if you miss the jump; 1) When you drop into the water the Okami leader will fire lightning at you, you want to hide behind the submerged structure on the right so the lightning strikes the building. 2) There is a fish in the water that can aggro to you, if he does use your spear prosthetic to kill (shruikans are slow and sword is risky as brings you in range to get hit), be sure to avoid the Okami lightning first before this.
- Wall jump up to the roof, run along the right hand side and you’ll reach the idol before the bridge, rest at idol. Head left towards large building/structure, grab on item on other side (3 * Divine Confetti), head back towards the buildings grappling up to the roof, head back along the rooftops the same route you came from then head to the back right area (go through route shown in vid to avoid mobs on the roof) this is where you’ll reach the Sakura Bull

- Collect items in Sakura bull arena (Coin Purse & 3 * Yash Sugars), Homeward idol to last idol.
- Grapple back up onto roof again, head back along but instead of going to the back right Sakura bull area, head directly the opposite side from the idol, The building in front has 3 dog mobs, shruikan the first two and the third will run out then also shruikan, there are also 2 more below near the tree these will run towards the building after dealing with the initial 3 wolves, shruikan these then drop down and grab item by tree (2 * Yash sugars). Idol back.
- Step onto the bridge to aggro Carp, then grapple to branch and run along left side of building grappling up. Run through stream then grappling up to the right. Run past mobs on right (With the suppress skills they won’t notice you), jump through mini-waterfall, run forward grapple to branch and up.
- Head down stairs, jumping to level below on the left before reaching the door with the mob inside. Run along left-side past mobs, grappling to the tree for Okami Leader.
Boss Fight
- Drop down on branch on left, drop down, dive and swim forward. you’ll arrive at a hole in the left side where the Carp will be swimming below,. Continue through the building structures as shown in the video until you exit, grapple up and grab idol. Rest at idol (this should prevent a weird non-grapple tree glitch in Divine Dragon fight), use Memory if haven’t already
- Head into building, head right and exit. Head straight up to the Divine Dragon boss fight. If you keep running the mobs don’t have time to attack.

- Get Idol, use memory. Get skills: mid-air deflection, mid-air combat arts, run and slide, shinobi eyes, vault over. Travel to Ashina depths – Hidden forest.
- Head back to where you fought Snake Eyes stopping before dropping into the large arena with the headless ape against the wall below. (Double ape is fought for the additional Attack power in order to cheese Lady Butterfly’s 2nd phase)

- Grab Idol, use memory, travel to dilapidated temple. Use buddha statue to the left of sculptor to go to Hirata estate.
- Head forward dropping down grappling to the tree in front, continue forward dropping into the water. Once you reach land in front, run forward and grapple up to the left then wall jump onto the railing, then up then right along it. There is a middle railing separating the two building areas, head along this until you can lock onto the mob on the roof on the right, shruikan this mob then head back to the back railing contine down the right to the far edge, drop down remain crouch and head forward staying close to the building on the left. When you reach the end shruikan the two wolves that are on the path in front then run up the path past all mobs until you reach the end of the bridge.
- Kill the torch bearing mob with a running strike, shruikan the mob in front on the left, then dash into and crouch in the flowers on the left.

- Go forward grabbing the idol on the right, continue grappling up on the left and dropping into the water. Swimming forward grappling to branch on the right, heading up through the bamboo on the right. Wall jump up. Head up the path until you aggro the mob on the roof of the building, then run back and jump off into the water below. Head back up, in some case the mob will have jumped off as well and died, if not then crouch and backstab.
- Head up to building and grab mist raven prosthetic material, homeward idol to Dilapidated temple. Get mist raven and finger whistle prosthetics. Travel to Kuro’s room
- Speak to Emma to get the Key, head out window dropping down on the right. Run along building top, dropping onto ground below-right (be careful of mobs fighting), turn and enter structure behind, drop down and open gate.
- Run down steps, turn left and grapple back moving towards the secret path from start of game.

- Head back to idol, use memory. Travel to idol in hirata estate.
- Head into the water again, this time heading to the just before the bridge near the wall, dive down and jump up grappling to the branch above (use vid for position reference). Wall jump up and run forward speaking to Owl for Key.
- Grapple up building on the left, grapple along to the next area. Run forward and turn on your first right, running through the cave and wall jumping to the top. Head out forward and right around the burning building, there is a mob on your left as you reach the main area, kill with a running attack.
- Run along the left side running through the flames in the area shown in the vid, run to the right crouching in the weeds in front of Juzou’s arena.

- Run into building down the left corridor, kill the two mobs at the end with a running attack. Run down past the idol kill the mob at the end with a shruikan as he walks into the doorway, then head down to Lady Butterfly’s arena.

- After waking up at sculptors, head to idol, use memory. Rest to restore Emblems, then head to Hirata estate 2.
- Head the same way up the well, this time taking the first right at the burning building not around it. Running attack the mob on the left, this won’t kill it’s just so he puts the bow & arrow away, then run past through the hole in the wall on the left. Run through the flames again.
