Father Gascoigne

  • Starting class needs to be Military Veteran
  • Exit room, head down regenerating stamina until full at the doors of the Wolf room, then run along the right side and once you reach the wolf, do a charged R2 to backstab. The wolf can either turn right, left or back up so don’t lock on just direct the attack to wherever the wolf turns. Then backstab to finish. If you miss, then run outside for the wider area to work with and dodge behind it to backstab. After killing grab GI (Blood Vials) and exit clinic
  • Open gates and head up towards ladder, run around first mob on the right, use switch to drop ladder. Then wait next to the ladder in order to bait out an attack from that 1st mob, this is so whilst we’re collecting the Molotov Cocktails he doesn’t have time to catch up, then run to the left of the mob on the ground rolling through the breakable objects and grabbing the GI (Molotov Cocktails) then run around the left side of the carriage and mobs to the ladder, climb up, light lantern and go to the Dream
  • Go to the stairs and grab the Saw Cleaver and the Hunter’s Pistol, before returning to Central Yharnam.
  • Equip Cleaver & Pistol, then head down the right, drop through a fence gap on the left near a mob. As you drop lock onto the mob on the right, then dodge forward towards the right side unlocking, helps with outspacing him. Grab the GI (Molotov Cocktails). Head down the stairs having full stamina, and sprint past all mobs on their left side, once you’ve run past the two mobs past the carriage, turn to the right run up the stairs, then up stairs on the left grabbing the GI (Blood Stone Shards) then immediately run or roll down towards the right as they’ll be mobs chasing behind and one on your right. Head right bait an attack from the mob on the right, then run past on the left side of the lamppost. Continue to go down the stairs, make sure to have full stamina first, then sprint left, up the stairs and onwards. Must be sprinting otherwise gunman and mobs will catch you.
  • Run past gunman on right, turning the camera to watch him as he will shoot as you head forwards strafing bullets if needed, then break through boxes on left to grab GI (Blood Stone Shard) then head onwards grabbing the other GI (Blood Vials) from behind the fence in case mobs are still chasing. Head down stairs and right grabbing the GI (Molotov Cocktails) to the right of the large mob, then immediately run away to the opposite side of the fountain. They’ll be some crows near a GI (Oil Urns) once they start turning to face you, roll between the two to break the boxes, grab the GI then roll along the fence heading left to avoid the 3rd crow. Head back up the stairs, right and roll through the boxes dropping from the gap in the fence.
  • Run past dog cages over the bridge, into next building. Roll through boxes on right dropping down in wall gap, head along the path until you reach the doorway on the right, head through to speak to NPC for Bold Hunter Marks. Then back continue down the path, drop off on the left onto the standing mechanism to avoid a heavy fall as would risk the gunman shooting us. Then drop down and run past the gunman on the right through the doorway.
  • Transform weapon and run along edge going right. Kill the 2 crows on the ground to your right with an R2 angling the camera down for the correct swing level, then grab GI (Oil urns) continue on dropping down (can drop to the right on a ledge to lower fall damage amount), then climb up ladder. Head over bridge to left, walk slowly to large mob stopping behind him to the right where a floor bulge is then do two charged R2s to finish and grab GI (Either B.Vials or Shining coins). Climb ladder speak to NPC at window in order to get the Music Box.
  • Drop down, head back down the earlier ladder (or can drop off left side of ladder but be sure to heal afterwards, and have enough health before dropping), then set up quick items
  • Quick item slots: Music Box, Oil Urns, Molotov Cocktails
  • Drop down and sprint forward, as they’ll be crows dropping down, after going down the stairs you’ll come across 3 mobs. 2 potential options;
  • 1: If they are all grouped around the left hand side, you can run along the right wall past them. But
  • 2: If they are not, don’t risk it as they have a very quick attack. Use your hunter pistol to shoot which has decent knockback on them , and once they are grouped throw 2 molotov’s to kill. In most cases you’ll kill 2, sometimes 3. If one remains stay on the left side to bait it move over, then run to the right wall and past.
  • Run through the tunnel, make sure to recharge stamina as you reach the 2nd ‘Archway’, run against the Pig’s snout as this will bait attacks to its front, then run along its right side and charge R2 then backstab, then finish with another charged R2. Grab the 2 GI, and drop from pig if it does (Blood Vials, Coldblood, Saw Hunter Badge). Continue on going through doorway on the left, up the ladder then up the stairs on the left going into the Gascoigne fight.

Father Gascoigne boss fight

  • Enter the arena and head to the left behind the tree.
  • In most cases he will either shoot or do an attack against the tree in which case use the music box and whilst he is disorientated, run past and to the stairs on the other side of the arena. On rare occasions he will run past the tree, in which case circle around the gravestone until he does an attack, then use the music box.
  • Wait at the top of the stairs. lock on to him as he approaches and he will either;
  • 1. Do a jumping attack which you should dash past on his right side.
  • 2. Walk up to you to do an axe slash, again dash past. Or
  • 3. Stay at the bottom and shoot at you, in which case dodge to the right or left staying at the top until he eventually does 1 or 2.
  • After dodging past loop around, hugging the side of the stairs just past the grave stone in the further corner. He will now attack the railing but be unable to hit you.
  • You want to activate the music box twice more in order to trigger his transformation into his beast form, make sure to move away when this happens due to the AOE, as the molotov’s do more damage.
  • After the transformation return to the corner and begin throwing Oil urns & Molotovs above until he’s dead.
  • Things to be aware of;
  • 1. If you move over towards the right, you will be in range in both phases through the fence, so stick the left side
  • 2. If you stay far away from the wall for too long, or move too far left, he can run down the stairs and chase you (in both phases), in which case you will have to circle around to the stairs again.
  • 3. In his beast form, he cannot hit you in that corner EXCEPT for weird occasions such as his slam & flurry attacks where there will be an extra delay before he slams or attacks (e.g. extra hang time during jump slam), this is the tell its going to be an attack that will hit much lower. Roll away from the wall and once it is finished, move back into position to make sure he doesn’t head down the stairs.
  • 4. If you miss any molotovs or urns, you can strike him with the transformed R1 attack to finish off, although is very slow.

Blood Starved Beast

  • Head up stairs and unlock gate, pop Coldblood and unequip Armour, drop down on the left to grab GI (Red Jewelled Brooch), then head to lamp to the dream.
  • Go to the insight shop and buy the Gascoigne Cap & Garb, then at the normal shop sell all armour and buy 25 Throwing Knives, 1 Pungent Cocktails & 29/30 Molotov Cocktails. Then teleport back to Gascoigne’s arena.
  • Head up the stairs, up the ladder, then grab the Gem workshop tool from the chest on the left and head up to Cathedral ward
  • Light lantern, equip Molotovs, head out left, wait for the mob in front to walk by then walk down the stairs, turn right and hugging the outer fence follow around to grab the GI (Hunter Armour Set) then continue on can grab the GI (Blood vials) on right. There is a mob here who either does a gesture or attack for both just run past, but he does (or is highly likely to) follow, so once you’ve gone down all the stairs, walk along the right fence until you reach the kerb/ just before the tree (must be a walk or else the dog will aggro), after making sure the dog/mob hasn’t aggroed turn the camera to view the stairs checking if he’s following, he will eventually turn around at which point head back up about half way up the stairs, (If he doesn’t stop, it means you were too close to the stairs), and wait for the dog+mob to walk to the right & single mob to walk left, follow along the left fence again walking. Once he has turned around continue past.
  • Run up the first set of stairs to aggro the 2 dogs at the top, run down the stairs positioning behind the railing on the left close enough to bait an attack from the dogs against the railing, then molotov. If a dog ends up running all the way down, then shoot and throw a molotov to kill. After dealing with those two, head back up the stairs, strafe the gunmans bullet, kill him with 3 strikes. Head through door and on through the opposite door, down the right and speak to Alfred to get Fire Paper.
  • Head back this time head through doorway on left, activate the switch/lever, head left and grab the GI (Madman’s Knowledge) drop down and there is a mob behind on the left who will either stand still or run after you as you drop down. Either case kill with 3 strikes, grab GI (Madman’s Knowledge) and head down the stairs in the center of the room.
  • Grab GI (Tempering Gemstone) on left, down the stairs and at the doorway recover full stamina before running to the opposite door, dropping down on the right and running down, then right into the a small side area where you want to grab a GI (Pungent Cocktail) near some pots. Need to run as there is a wolf in the previous room that has a chance to follow all the way down although unlikely, if it does you can either throw a Pungent cocktail against the wall and use the lamp to leave or head outside and fight in the wider space, like the first wolf going for backstabs.
  • In either case head outside after grabbing the GI, equip the Hunter set and set up Quick items;
  • Item Slots: Fire Paper, ’empty’, Pungent Cocktails, Molotov Cocktails, Throwing Knives, ’empty’
  • Slowly walk towards the right stairs until you can lock onto the Scurrying Beast then move forward and Molotov before it runs away. Then head left towards the bridge (can grab the GI (Blood Vials) on the left beforehand), Molotov the mob walking over the bridge, then run over, down the right stairs recover stamina slightly (only a little as mob will be chasing behind), then run forward, strafe the mob in front on the right, then drop off the edge on the right side of the flaming pyre to drop onto an elevated spot, then roll left running forward towards the building. You need to drop onto that elevated spot as otherwise you risk a hard landing which will means the Gatling gun Hunter will shoot you as you’re recovering.
  • Head inside the building, through the first doorway on the right. Then drop down grabbing the GI (Coldblood), aggro all the mobs by moving up and down the last platform striking the side if needed to alert them, then throwing a Pungent cocktail against the wall drop down and run out of the building.
  • Head left then immediate left, run down the path then just before heading the spots with steam/smoke, recover stamina and then run past as there’s mobs hiding here. After dropping down at the bottom of the stairs, throw a pungent cocktail at the pillar to attract the wolf behind, head left and grab the GI (Pungent Cocktails) then run on. Before crossing the bridge with the wolf on it, throw a P. Cocktail against the wall in the corner, then run across head left, and right at the end grabbing the GI (Beast Blood Pellets). Immediately turn around and throw a pungent cocktail on the other side as a Wolf will have dropped down, then head back.
  • The wolf you passed earlier on the bridge will be doing either 2 things at this point;
  • 1: Has remained where he was and you don’t have to deal with, or 2: has followed or is heading towards you, in which case you will need to throw another P.Cocktail against the wall.
  • Head left, not too close to house on right as another wolf will jump out, head left again through the smoke past the mob, and head left again running as a wolf will be chasing, continue running until you reach the Blood Starved Beast arena.

Blood Starved Best boss fight

Phase 1

  • Once the fight starts, buff with Fire Paper and Beast Blood Pellet before BSB approaches
  • General Rule: Keep to the right of BSB
  • Backstab opportunties;
  • 1 – Raise then drop: BSB will lift up with both front claws and drop down, circle around its left side and when it drops, unlock the camera and charge R2 its back, followed by another charged R2
  • 2 – Claw swipe: BSB will hold its right claw to the side to swipe remaining stationary, same as above
  • Claw lunge: Will stick its right claw and tense to jump forward, this can be parried from the right side. if you get the parry, strike its side several time to build the pellet meter for more damage instead of the Visceral, if you miss the parry but are on the right side it will jump past you.
  • All other flurry, jump, other attacks should be outspaced, strafed around the right or dodged past the right side, waiting for the above 3.
  • Try to keep in the middle of the arena or at least not in a position where the left side of BSB is obstructed by a pillar or wall

Phase 2

  • Phase Transition: Try to position behind to do 2 charged R2s during this, although is a quick transformation so don’t worry if missed.
  • Carry on the same as 1st phase as poison is only inflicted on hits.

Phase 3

  • Phase Transition: Same as above, but the transformation is longer so unless it has position with its back in a wall or pillar you should definitely get this.
  • There is now an poison cloud around BSB so you can’t stay close for too long, so keep in mind.
  • In this phase it has a secondary poison cloud it can put on itself, where it will backaway crouch and build up to produce this. You need to interrupt this if its happening, as it ends up being next to impossible to avoid getting poisoned afterwards as the effect range is greatly increased, so try to charge R2 the back during the build up.

Vicar Amelia

  • Light lamp and teleport to Dream, head back to the BSB arena (required to respawn a scurrying beast), then head back up the stairs killing the Scurrying beast for upgrade material, then grab GI (Bold Hunter’s marks) on left. Then use one to mark out (Equip Marks in personal effects slots for ease)
  • Head to Dream, restock Molotov cocktails, Upgrade Saw Cleaver to +2 and use insight to buy Pungent Cocktails. Then travel to Cathedral Ward.
  • Head right up the lift, head right and kill mob for Bullets. Then run through doorway, strafing mob on bridge, then head around left, molotov the scurrying beast, then drop down and continue until you reach the wooden bridge.
  • Here you need to angle in the middle and roll towards the ropes behind the the right of you, this is the position of a platform below that you need to land on. Heal, and drop down again. Head through doors towards the Workshop, grab the Doll armour set from the chest, then head up the stairs grabbing the GIs (Hunter Bone & Third Umbilical Cord), then make way back. Healing before continuing to drop down, first rolling along the left wall, step onto the next wooden platform and then drop off to the floor. Run past the mob opening the door, (he’s programmed to always turn around so you never have to worry about), head out, left and before turning right make sure to have full stamina, as you’ll then sprint on, up the stairs past the dog on the right and left into the lift.
  • At the top grab the GI (Coldblood), drop down use the Lever, head right grabbing the GI (Coldblood) next to the stairs, immediately run left and use the lever as mobs on the stairs will be aggroed now. Head back the way you came, heading left up the stairs grab the GI (Coldblood) then up the stairs again, up the stairs on the right stopping before the stairs with the 2 mobs above.
  • Head to the right of the stairs, then with full stamina start sprinting up the right side of the stairs to the door. open and roll through to Vicar Amelia. There is a chance that the mob at the top will aggro early instead of a gesture which can be ignored, in which case you need to be prepared to roll his attacks. Worth practicing in case goes wrong in a run.

Vicar Amelia boss fight

  • The fight will initiate when you reach the 2nd tile on the floor, before that buff with Fire Paper & Beast Blood Pellet
  • This fight will happen the same way every time with these steps;
  1. Run up to Amelia, strike the left hand R1, L1, L1
  2. Strike the right leg R1, L1, L1
  3. Circle around the back to the left leg, have full stamina then R1, L1, L1, L1
  4. Untransform weapon, lock on, move back to Amelia’s head and do a Visceral attack
  5. Striking the outside of the left leg R1, L1, L1, L1
  6. R1 to the right leg, 2nd R1 to the right arm, then walk to the left of Amelia avoiding the backstep
  7. Finish with R1 to right arm, then L1, L1, L1

Shadows of Yharnam

  • Interact with Skull at front of the Church and then Mark out back to Cathedral Ward lamp.
  • Head out the front exit, up the stairs, recover stamina halfway so you can run past the mob at the top on his left side, head left through the gate you opened earlier. Circle the area grabbing the 5 GI (Madman’s Knowledge), the fifth in front of the large mob will cause him to aggro, so be sure to run past as soon as you pick it up.
  • Molotov the crow on the floor and the brainsucker to your right, for the brainsucker back up into the doorway on the left so you can run if he starts chasing, then run to where the brainsucker started to grab the GI (Twin blood shards). Then carry on, being sure to run as there is a gunman on the lower lever who’s bullets can go through gaps in the wall, and grab the GI (Gemstone) next to alfred, then head down the stairs, through the door, speak to body to get a Madman’s Knoweldge then drop down to head into the Forbidden woods.
  • To the right of the stairs there is a GI (Coldblood) to pick up, then head forward and drop off the ledge dropping down to pick up a GI (Twin Blood Shards), head left to the upper lever area where you look down at a mob, he will walk up towards you. Once he is on the same level, roll off and run down to the lamp, light and throw a molotov at the crow next to the bulding/by the gravestones. Do this quickly as that mob from before will be chasing.
  • Head over the bridge, running past the mob, strafe the Gunman’s bullet if he shoots, run past the trap then turn right. Throw a pungent cocktail against the wall to attract the mob in front, run past, drop off the ledge on the right side, (if drop on the left you may aggro a mob so make sure to drop right), throw a molotov at the Scurrying beast on the right and collect upgrade material
  • Head back approach the mob with his back turned until he starts walking, wait until he goes past the tree on the left then start running forward, throw a pungent cocktail against the wall on the left to attract the mob on the right, then continue on. Grab GI (Coldblood), head down then left up to the 4 dogs in cages, kill these before progressing otherwise they will be released whilst your collecting the next item. After into the house on the right picking up the GI (Blue Elixers) head out, right, grab GI (Bullets) then drop down, grab the item from the wall on the right (Beast Blood Pellets).
  • Use a Blue elixer, run to the right over the bumb, run around the center (the middle will collapse, so give a wide berth), and head through to the oily water area on the opposite side from where you entered. Hug the left side, throw a molotov at the mob on the right, run up the ledge on the right by running along the wall, continue forward.
  • Mob on the left next to a GI (Twin Shards), kill with 2 Charged R2s to the back and grab GI. Behind is a tunnel go in, ignore the first GI, grab the 2nd (Twin Shards), open the door and grab GI (P. Cocktails), turnaround and now grab Gi (Twin Shards). Done in this order as there is a small chance the gunman above will shoot the first time.
  • Exit running right, listen out for the gunman behind as may have to strafe, head into building on right, grab GI (Blood Vials) continue, exit left. (Be careful of gunman across from you as may have to roll or strafe). Then continue up running to the right of the cannon.
  • Go through the building along the left side and through the doorway, drop down, throw a P.cocktail against the wall to attract the mob ahead, then climb the ladder.
  • Head across the top grabbing the GI (Poison knives) on the left, then exit and grab GI (Poison Knives) in front. Look below and if the mob is by the cannon you just drop down and head in again, if he’s not, wait for him to exit the building below plunge attack and then roll into the building. This time drop down on the right, and head forward exiting the building.
  • There is a Snake mob in front which you want to kill with Throwing knives, be careful to backtrack and keep distance if he starts running towards you. After killing him continue forward, then heading backwards up the hill at the very end picking up a GI (Twin Shards). Then head back, right going up in the lift.
  • Open the door on the other side, then strike the NPC in the hut 3 times to aggro, and run back to the lift rolling backwards off it. The NPC will drop down and die to gravity. Head back up out the door and another NPC will have spawned past the lamp, wait until he is close then run back in to the lift, wait until you are sure he’s following in before heading down, and again roll back off the lift so the NPC can fall down. Send the lift back up, but roll off beforehand.
  • Head down the path dropping down on the left to grab a GI (Coldblood), continue heading left at the snake mob. Continue hugging the left hand side until you reach the GI (Twin Shards) grab, keeping to the left continue and grab the next GI (Madman’s Knowledge). Drop off on the left, head back and grab the GI (Twin Shards). Mark Out.
  • Head back to the dream. Restock Molotovs & Throwing Knives. Pop all insight items (Third Umbilical cord & MMs Knowledge), buy 10 BS Shards & remaining insight for Pungent Cocktails. Upgrade S.Cleaver to +6 and equip Gems. Sell Doll armour set, then Level Strength: 25 & Skill: 22. Travel back to forbidden woods
  • Head back down the lift, continue running down the path until you reach a mob on the left side. He will transform so don’t have to worry about him, but shortly ahead at the corner you will need full stamina to start sprinting past the upcoming snake mobs. If you don’t have full there’s a chance to be hit with a spit attack to the back at the end. After getting past them continue on until the path turns left, continue forward on the left side of the tree with the light on it. Need to sprint here as well because of mobs on left & right, dropping off the edge on the right. Run up towards the right, running past the pig, and heading down left to the Shadows of Yharnam arena.

Shadows of Yharnam boss fight

  • Before entering the fight, You want; Full health to trigger the Gem attack buff, Only Beast blood pellets & Throwing knives equipped for easy switching & your weapon transformed.

Phase 1

  • Starting the fight, run straight up to shadows and just past the bone body on the floor before shadows, charge an R2 for a horizontal sweep for free damage, then roll away and untransform your weapon.
  • In this fight you are going to be walking in a circle going clockwise around the gravestones, attacking the Katana Wielder and Pyromancer at safe moments.
  • Would recommend using Controller Claw Grip as helps with keeping the camera on the Shadows whilst circling.
  • You are going to be taking down the two bosses health (ignore damage on Candle guy for now), to a specific amount. On the underside of the bosses healthbars there is a white mark on the left side, you want their health to be on the right edge of this mark, as anymore will trigger their transformation into second phase. If you get close but another Saw cleaver attack will go past, use throwing knives to lower as they do less damage.
  • Katana Shadow
  • Running attack: Outspace, then when the animation finishes do an R1
  • Walk to melee: If he approaches without doing a running attack, you normally have chance to walk up and get a strike in before he acts due to the saw cleavers fast attack speed, the case to be careful of is;
  • Delayed attack: He will hold is katana, lean back with a delay and then swing. Due to the lean back its easy to whiff your attack and get caught, so be careful to move away immediately if you see this or be sure your close enough to hit.
  • Jump attack: Happens rarely but be aware of, same with the running attack once the animation is finished a good spot for an R1
  • A good spot to do damage is behind the large gravestone in the corner, as can act as a barrier for the pyromancers fireballs, although not completely safe as the fireballs do track so be careful if they go on the outside of the gravestone.
  • Assuming the Candle guy isn’t nearby and the Pyromancer isn’t shooting you can go for more than one hit just be extra sure of the other two’s position, and don’t run out of stamina so you can roll out of the way.
  • Candle Shadow
  • Firespray: A good attack to bait as it freezes him in position so you can attack either of the other shadows.
  • Melee attacks: Can still attack with its own katana so be careful if it doesn’t do the Firespray immediately when you are near to it.
  • Pyromancer Shadow
  • 3 Fireballs: If you keep the camera on him, you can go perpendicular to the fireballs and walk past them, can also run to be sure or roll in tight situations. Need to always be aware of these especially when going for hits on the Katana Shadow. Audio helps as well with how close they are.
  • Melee attack: If you remain close for too long he can do an attack with his ladle, so be aware of this when going for hits or running past
  • Be careful of jumping in this fight, which is 2 circle presses which can happen pretty easily when running then trying to roll, as the jump has next to no i-frames unlike the roll. So if caught in a situation make sure you have stopped running first and then roll.
  • Once you have got the health bars in the correct spot, (Katana Shadow is more important to do so than the Pyromancer), try to lead the pyromancer towards the big gravestone then sprint all the way to the opposite end. (the left side from the entrance), use a Beast Blood Pellet, use throwing knives on the Katana Shadow until it triggers the transformation. Kill the Katana Shadow during this transformation with R1 L1 L1 L1, then note what the pyromancer is doing as his transformation is quicker than the Candle shadow

Phase 2

  • You are now going to be killing the Pyromancer first, but you want to do so relatively close to the Candle shadow.
  • Pyromancer Shadow
  • Overhead fireballs: In addition to phase 1 attacks, he can now shoot three fireballs overhead which will explode when they hit the ground. Either outspace the explosion or run underneath with a roll, as the hitbox that strikes behind the explosion is smaller than in front.
  • Candle Shadow
  • Extended melee attacks: In addition to phase 1 attacks, he can now extend his arm in a straight line attack, which you need to strafe or roll, or a extended hooking attack the right side which needs dashing/rolling through to i-frame.
  • The safest method for dealing damage to the Pyromancer is to approach the Candle shadow to trigger his flame spray, then whilst in that animation go and strike the Pyromancer.

Phase 3

  • Candle Shadow
  • Once the Pyromancer is dead, you need to strike the Candle Shadow as soon as possible, (whilst also being careful of him doing a melee swipe), as he can now summon large Snakes if he has time and space, which are almost impossible to avoid.
  • Once you’ve done an R1, he will jump to the side, approach and R1, repeating this loop until he’s dead.

Rom, the Vacuous Spider

  • Head forward, there will be a mob on the right that needs sprinting past but make sure you have full stamina as after running past/avoiding the attack, you need to wait a moment to recover stamina and then kill with 5 R1 attacks. Continue on dropping down past the lantern, shoot the two mobs on the left to aggro, transform weapon and use charged R2s to kill from the high ground. After drop down, up the stairs, drop down running around the building.
  • After entering use a Blue elixir because of the hostile NPC above, head up the stairs around to the left, up the ladder grabbing the GI (Key). Drop down head back around, through the door. Speak with NPC in chair for insight & can also kill for free souls, then drop into Rom arena.

Rom, the Vacuous Spider boss fight

Spiders

  • You want to initiate the fight by firing a bullet at Rom to make sure the spiders don’t drop on you, or are close enough to attack straight away.
  • Run around Rom clockwise taking out the spiders one at a time, they take two strikes on there side or one when they are head in the ground after a dive.
  • You want to always approach them from the side as they have a spit attack from the front, and can shoot web behind.
  • Also do not go near them whilst they’re doing a flurry attack moving forward, as they have a very wide hitbox so wait until it’s finished or leave for another one.
  • Be patient, wait for spiders alone. If two are together and one is facing you as you go in to kill another, it can very quickly attack/jump/spit, so would leave it.

Rom Cheese

  • After clearing through the spiders unequip the Saw Cleaver, use a Beast Blood Pellet and do R2s to Rom’s head until you have a full Pellet bar. I’d recommend moving slightly to the left as you do this to check if your next to an invisible wall before initiating the Saw Cleaver attacks.
  • If you want to be extra cautious before building up the Pellet bar you can run and check where the invisible walls are in order to position Rom better.
  • Once the bar is full, reequip the Saw Cleaver, move to Rom’s right side and buff with Fire Paper.
  • Then lock on, dash forward L1, L1
  • Do 3 R1s and once he starts teleporting do a charged R2 to interrupt the teleport, if he backs away its a free fight as you follow continue R1s and R2 on the teleport which will normally finish.
  • After interrupting the teleport finish with 4 R1s
  • Now if you strike the head you will do reduced damage so if this happens or you miss, Rom will teleport away at this point likely with low health so you want to run close (but away from the spiders) and throw Molotov’s to finish.
  • If the teleport happens, Rom will now call projectiles from the sky. The tell being when she raises her head up and drops it whilst you are a distance away, these you need to sprint to the side until they are all gone to avoid.

The One Reborn

  • Head down the stairs past the spawning mobs, drop through gap in rail on the right to grab a GI (Coldblood), around the corner will be a mob to kill with 3 R1s, then head down lighting the lamp.
  • Go down the stairs on the left, near the bottom make sure to have full stamina then sprint down the stairs on the left side, careful to strafe the gunman’s bullet at the bottom. Run in then right, watch out for gunman on the right, exit drop through rail on the right and grab the GI (Bolt Paper) behind. Be careful here as there is a chance for a mob to drop down behind which you will then have to kill. Use a Blue elixir and drop down again running up the stairs on the left, head right, grab the GI (Blood Chunk) on the left then continue on down the right side.
  • Once the laser starts firing as you reach the stairs, run to the left rail and run down. The mob on the stairs has a chance to survive and chase you, if it starts slowly at the bottom light the lantern and go to the dream (or run away and mark out after lighting), if it chases quickly lead it to the other side through the left doorway before running back to do one of the above Lamp strats. If this happens you will need to go to the dream anyway to respawn the Scurrying beast that will likely disappear during this.
  • Kill the Scurrying beast through the left doorway for upgrade materials, head up along the right side, plunge attack the mob below on the small jutted out platform and kill with 2 more R1s. Grab GI (Coldbloods), throw a P.Cocktail towards the left for the dogs below, then drop down, drop off the stairs to the left killing the bell mob in the corner, this staggers the 3 mobs in front so you can run past and to the door.
  • Open head down stairs, using a Blue elixir halfway down, head across the room hugging the right side, then once exited head left. On the left they’ll be a a large mob, grab the GI (Bolt Paper), it will spin around to the left and as it does follow to the left grabbing the 2nd GI (Blood Chunk), then run out heading left to the wheel of the carriage which will make the mob jump out. When it has left the carriage, grab the GI (Blood Chunk) in front of the carriage. Head back towards the earlier building, turning back on the right up the stairs, careful of the gunman on the other end, let his first shot go into the wall on the left then run up and kill. Roll away quickly afterwards as the mob chasing below can strike up here, then run to the left, around the mob hiding on the right and into the lift heading up.
  • Kill the mob in front with R1s, run to the 2nd mob right-side and kill also. Grab the GI in front, head up the stairs, heading over to the left to grab the GI (Blood Chunk) then head back down the lift rolling off before reaching the bottom. Throw a P.Cocktail against the wall in front to attract the dogs, then run inside and use the pool to teleport.
  • Head left, walking forward until the dog mob starts walking away, once he starts walking across the bridge, run into the building on the left. There is a Gunman on the stairs, who you should wait to fire into railing before running down and killing, although sometimes he will just stand there in which case just run down. Near the bottom of the stairs throw a P.Cocktail at the doorway, then run to the left near the GI (Gemstone), before picking up throw another P.Cocktail away from you to attract the wolf. This gives enough time to pick up the GI & mark out. Then head to the dream.
  • Restock on items. Upgrade weapon to +8 and swap for better gems. Buy P.Cocktails with insight. Then travel back to Yahar’gul Unseen Village.
  • Head down again towards the lift on the right, drop through railing on left running the wheelchair mobs left side to kill, strafe or roll to the 2nd mobs right side and also kill. Head back to the pool. Run forward dropping through gap in floor on right ignoring mobs, roll on landing in case it follows down, and run on to The One Reborn Arena.
  • Have health full (for Gem attack buff) and Bolt paper in Quick items before entering

The One Reborn boss fight

Witches

  • Sprint the back far right, up the stairs and at before exiting wait for the spit.
  • Head out and hide behind the pillar for the 2nd spit, kill the Witch with 2 strikes, head back behind the pillar for a 3rd spit or if he raises up rolling out of the way continuing up.
  • Kill the next witch whilst keeping the camera on TOR as you may have to roll backwards behind the pillar in front if he readies another spit.
  • Then sprint around the top killing the remaining witches.

One Reborn Cheese

  • After killing the last Witch, head down the stairs buffing with Bolt Paper & Beast Blood Pellet, wait for his AOE attack to go off then sprint out attacking his body with R1 L1 L1
  • This will cause him to stagger and you can finish him by circling clockwise around doing 3-4 hits on each large limb as will keep him in a permanent stun lock.

Micolash, Host of the Nightmare

  • Head up interact with figure in chair to enter the lecture hall, exit the room and run down the end, running past the mobs on their right side, exiting through the door to the nightmare.
  • Head out, transform weapon as you want to backstab the upcoming mob and the horizontal R2 of the transformed weapon is more reliable after killing the enemy continue, grab the GI (Coldblood) on left then after running past the lantern. Throw a P.Cocktail to the right for a mob, move up throw another against the left statue of faces, head on and throw one against the right statue to attract the last mob. Then Run onwards hugging the right side until you reach the door, roll through after opening JIC a rock is thrown, then head in immediate right up the stairs. Can grab a GI (Coldblood) on the right. Then through onto the overhead path on the left, drop down run up the stairs and head right.
  • The hostile NPC in front you want to be running on the left, as he approaches run to the right and then strafe left after running past him to avoid his swing. Run on down the stairs on the left, heading on towards the left side. Instead of going down the next stairs, go to the left of the stairs following around to a GI (Blue Elixirs). Use a Blue elixir, drop down, run forward around the right side of the pillar in front, then hugging the left side being careful of the holes in the floor. Then go into the elevator from the left side and once activating the elevator roll against the side in case the mob in front aggroed as he throws projectiles.
  • At the top, head up the stairs throwing a P.Cocktail below against the wall. If the crow in the cage doesn’t drop and move towards the P.Cocktail, kill with Molotov’s or Throwing knives. Then with a running start, drop into the cage grabbing the GI (Gemstone). Exit, up the stairs and move to the cage lifts on the opposite side heading down. Light the lamp and go to the dream
  • Swap Gems in Weapon. Then pop all coldbloods and sell all unecessary items e.g. Upgrade material, Madaras whistle, ritual material, spare armour. Level Up Skill: 25 and rest into Strength (normally 39-41), and head back to Mergo’s Loft.
  • Head back up, into the building across the bridge and into the Micolash arena.

Micolash, Host of the Nightmare boss fight

Skeletons

  • At the end of the first hallway they’ll be a skeleton, these you want to kill with an R1, L1, R2, as the L1-R2 are both horizontal sweeps that are more likely to catch if they try to move out of the way.
  • Micolash will be at the top of the stairs alongside another skeleton,
  • If he heads right, follow killing the first skeleton and another in front of the next room
  • If he heads up, again follow killing the skeletons as you go, until he positions in front of that room, then backtrack until you run through the middle path (like you would if he’d run right immediately) so he runs into the room.

Phase 1

  • Head into the room so he aggros then exit back to where the skeleton was, buffing with Bolt Paper & BBPellet.
  • Once is about halfway into the inbetween room, from the skeleton area and the larger open room, enter and strafe around him until his back is against the wall. Then R1 L1 L1 L1, will normally take 3 combos for him to go into Phase 2
  • The tentacle attack he has, has a long range but a narrow hitbox, strafe to left or right to avoid.
  • Before doing the last strike to put into 2nd phase you could instead throw poison knives at him as the poison damage will carry on as you make your way to him.

Phase 2

  • After doing enough damage he will disappear, exit the room heading up the stairs, continue until you reach the stairs going up the right.
  • There is two mobs up here, the first you want to aggro then lead down and once it does a jump attack you want to run past. The 2nd mob has a crossbow, so as you come up to it, you want to run along the left wall into the corner just before the mob and the arrow it shoots will hit the wall, at which point you then run past. (Sometimes it also just won’t shoot immediately, so again run past as the mob behind will be chasing)
  • Continue up the stairs where micolash is waiting where he can either;
  • 1 – Go left: Where you follow, he drops down and then you can throw poison knives to poison him and repeat until he dies. Do not drop down.
  • 2 – Goes up the stairs: Again follow, he’ll go through a mirror on the left, you head along the right side, dropping through the floor in the next room. There will be 2 skeletons in front, the first deal with normally, the 2nd will be ready to attack so shoot and then deal with. Then head to the doorway in front of Micolash and walk slowly out and along the right wall moving behind him, there is a skeleton behind to deal with. After killing the skeleton, making sure not to disturb Micolash whilst doing that, position yourself directly behind Micolash/in front of the mirror, shoot in the back. He will now be in a loop where he appears out of the mirror, and if you strike as he exits it he will then disappear and spawn out of the mirror again, continue doing this until he dies.

Mergo’s Wet Nurse

  • Head up to the top level, across the bridge exiting the arena.
  • Head up the stairs heading left, recover stamina then sprint past shadows on the left, up the stairs and towards the next set. You can either spin the camera to watch what the pyromancy shadow is doing to dodge/strafe or use audio for when the fireballs are close then strafing to the side. Continue until you reach just before the right side of the pig and use a Blue elixir. Run on hugging the left side, the left pig ahead will notice but won’t be able to react in time if you continue running, keep to the left side past the shadows up the stairs, and right to the Mergo’s Wet Nurse arena

Mergo’s Wet Nurse boss fight

  • Only require Bolt Paper & Beast Blood Pellets in quick items, and Buff with one of each before initiating the fight
  • For Wet Nurse when you are to her side, she will jump away the majority of the time. She has a chance, (which feel increases in the later stages of the fight), to do an attack instead so be aware and careful of that, being ready to roll behind if needed. Especially near the end of the fight.
  • I recommend playing this fight without Lock-on so you are rolling, and find easier to outspace attacks by running
  • If buffs run out, get closer to bait out an attack and then buff during the animation.
  • Attacks
  • Spin upwards swipe: She will position here scythes to her left then swipe up-right whilst spinning, roll to her right side and strike R1 L1 to her side arms.
  • Scythes slam: Will raise all her scythes up in front of her and slam down, need to strafe/run/roll to the side, then run to her side to strike.
  • Outward swipe: Will hug all her scythes then extend them outwards, need to run away to outspace, then after the attack can run to her right side to strike.
  • Thrust attack: Will do a thrust attack and then extend outwards which can also hit you, roll the thrust then outspace the outwards slashes.
  • Jumping attack: Happens often at the start or after a teleport, roll her right side during this.
  • Nightmare phase: Will flap her wings, raise her arms and send dark tendrils out which if struck will put you in a darkened arena with Wet Nurse who teleports with extended attacks. In 2nd phase there are also 2 Nurses during this phase. To avoid this, lock-on and as the tendrils appear on-screen dash twice to the side to i-frame. If you end up mistiming, there isn’t a consistent way to do hitless especially when there is 2 with the only advice being run around the circumference of the arena, rolling if she appears in front. If you practice the dodge you never have to deal with this phase though.
  • 3 Swipe attack: Will do one swipe where if you are out of range, she will stop and do another attack. With this you want to approach to bait out the 2nd and 3rd attacks, of course running away out of range, as after the 3rd you can run in for strikes the her right side. Be careful in the last half of her Health bar as the 2nd & 3rd attacks happen faster.
  • Teleport: Will enclose herself in her wings and then disappear, you can get a strike off whilst this is happening. When she disappears, run to the nearest wall and spin the camera to view the entire arena for where she is going to spawn. Once she has spawned try to get towards her quickly, in order to be close enough to roll if she does a jumping attack.
  • Lawnmower attack: Will do a flurry of attacks around herself, including spots behind, that you need to run away from. If you are too close she will just continue this attack, so when you see this attack be sure to outspace by quite a bit so she stops the attacks as otherwise will be wasting your buffs.
