Xero tips

1st Phase

– Nail hits, you want to be focusing on using nail hits in this phase in order to build soul to shorten the more difficult second phase. Would recommend doing upstrikes as hitting from the side knocks him back which can alter the way he fires the spikes/the spikes return path in random ways.

– Platforms, move between platforms only by shadow dash this guarantees even if you mess up the timing if trying to avoid a spike to i-frame it.

– Camera, you want to keep Xero in view as much as possible do this by staying in the centre as much as possible only moving the left and right platform if needed.

2nd Phase

– Abyss shriek, main source of damage in this phase. Try to get directly below Xero when doing an Abyss shriek as this will be push him into the ceiling allowing for multiple hits (more damage) per spell use. 0:49​

– Time, be patient with this phase and the keeping in view is even more important. With the soul you’ve built up in 1st phase and damage Abyss Shriek & Shaman Stone does this phase can be over quickly with spells so doesn’t need rushing.
