God Tamer tips

– Fight start 0:19​, the tamer will strike where you are standing so I would remain in the starting spot until he jumps, go under and get some hits in for soul. The beast can’t be hit during the scream.

– Beast Roll 0:23​, with the roll whilst you are:

1. in the centre of the arena, you can either shadow dash through or jump over.

2. near the walls, I would wall climb and jump over. He will ricochet back so if the tamer is also near the wall I’d jump towards the centre of the arena for space. Otherwise dash underneath back towards the wall.

– Beast Projectile Spit, you either: 1.Shadow dash through the spit 0:47​ 2. Get above the beast before the spit goes off 0:28​ 3. Wall jump above where the projectiles can reach 0:38​

– Desolate Dive, desolate dive does 3 points of damage the dive, the slam, the shockwave. Normally the beast is stationary so all points hit so is great for this fight. For the i-frames, after the slam I would recommend either shadow dashing away or jumping up, as if you remain in position or walk to either side you can get hit due to being in the beasts hitbox after the i-frames run out.

– Shade Soul, although I don’t use in this fight Shade soul is also decent as with Shaman Stone this normally does two hits per soul due to the size of the beast and size of the spell due to the charm.

– Pogo-ing (downstriking whilst jumping over), you can continuously pogo on the beast and can be a good method however you need to keep track of Tamer and if you miss-time slightly you’ll falll and get hit, so this method is for personal preference.

– Tamer, although not a huge deal in this fight he still needs keeping track of. The nail is quite long so be sure to distance away. Keep track of when he last jumped, if you try to desolate dive as he jumps up you can get hit before the i-frames ‘activate’. If the beast has just been killed he still can do a jump or be in a mid-jump, be sure to avoid as this will still hit you.
